Job summary

Mantrose Group is seeking a production mixer for our Elgin, IL facility. You will add and blend raw materials per the daily schedule, producing quality products that meet safety, SQF and customer requirements.

You will also coach associates and help establish efficient production processes across product lines. You should have a High School diploma, be safety conscious, able to lift 60 lbs, and be willing to work varied shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be safety conscious and able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Self-directed, able to work without close supervision.
• Willing to work overtime, varied shifts including nights/weekends/holidays.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Certified forklift driver preferred.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Blend raw materials according to the daily production schedule.
• Produce quality products meeting QA, SQF and customer requirements.
• Coach, counsel, train and develop associates.
• Establish efficient production processes for all product lines.
• Ensure adherence to QA and SQF procedures.
• Review production schedule before shift and communicate changes to line associates.
• Ensure all formulas, labels, tools and equipment are ready prior to start.
• Maintain clean production areas and safe practices; follow GMP.
• Complete end-of-shift documentation and data collection.
• Coordinate with manager and shift supervisors to resolve issues.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
