Job summary

Mantrose Group is seeking a Production Mixer to operate within the production floor, blending raw materials according to the daily schedule and ensuring quality products meet safety and SQF standards.

The role requires reading, writing, math skills, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities, with flexibility for varied shifts, overtime, and training of associates. Experience with SQF/OSHA is valued.

Qualifications

• Must possess good reading, writing and math skills.
• Must always be safety conscious.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Must be self-directed and able to work without close supervision
• Willing and able to work overtime as needed
• Hardworking, dependable, and safety conscious
• Bilingual - English/Spanish
• Certified forklift driver preferred
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and train employees
• Knowledgeable of SQF and OSHA regulations

Responsibilities

• Review production schedule with line associates before shift start and communicate changes.
• Ensure products meet QA, SQF, and customer requirements.
• Coach, counsel, and develop associate skills.
• Establish efficient production processes for all product lines.
• Train associates in production methods and safety procedures.
• Maintain documentation and data collection for production records.
• Keep production areas clean and free of waste and hazards.
• Communicate issues to managers and shift supervisors.
• Perform inspections to ensure GMP compliance and safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager
