Blending Operator - 2nd Shift

Pay Rate: $24.75/hour

In this role, you will be responsible for operating blending equipment, ensuring product quality, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the efficient production of high-quality products.

This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, mechanically inclined, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Schedule

Thursday - Sunday
1:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate blending equipment, including startup, shutdown, and troubleshooting procedures
• Follow blending instructions, formulations, and sampling plans accurately
• Safely operate a forklift to move ingredients and materials
• Maintain a valid driver's license and adhere to all equipment safety procedures
• Monitor blending processes to ensure product quality and consistency
• Complete equipment cleaning and sanitation requirements
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment to meet company, customer, and regulatory standards
• Complete production documentation accurately and in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, Food Safety, and Food Defense requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Assist with additional production responsibilities as assigned by leadership

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain certification)
• Valid driver's license required
• Previous manufacturing, blending, production, food processing, or industrial experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions accurately
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to learn and follow detailed manufacturing processes and safety protocols
• Self-motivated with a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
• Willingness to participate in cross-training and ongoing development opportunities

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods (8-12 hours)
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in varying temperature environments
• Ability to perform physically demanding job duties in a manufacturing setting
