Job summary

Kindeva is seeking an Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to support production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure GMP and aseptic gowning standards. You will troubleshoot, repair, and replace components, order parts as needed, and help train colleagues while keeping meticulous records.

The role requires knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, ability to read schematics, and a commitment to safety and process improvements in a sterile environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate’s degree or technical certificate from a technical school preferred.
• 1+ years related experience OR extensive generalist experience.
• Must have experience in one of the following disciplines: Electricity Technologies, Industrial Technology, Welding, Machine Shop, HVAC and/or Control Systems.
• Must be willing to work in a sterile environment that requires aseptic gowning.

Responsibilities

• Set up, tear down and change over all production machinery, as required.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment and systems, as assigned.
• Keep up-to-date records on all maintenance performed according to SOPs, logbooks, work orders, etc.
• Manufacture spare parts and machine parts with little assistance, as required.
• Troubleshoot production equipment electrically, mechanically and pneumatically.
• Order spare or replacement parts as required.
• Maintain production areas, buildings, roads and grounds mechanically and aesthetically.
• Work from sketches, mechanical drawings, electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Train departmental colleagues to enhance cross-training and capability for equipment.
• Assist Project Engineers, as directed.
• Observe all shop, equipment and production floor safety practices.
• Maintain area and tools in a clean, organized manner.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in good order per SOPs and GMP guidelines; document accordingly.
• Participate in process improvement activities.
