Job summary

Columbus McKinnon is seeking a Production Materials Flow Specialist in Menomonee Falls, WI to keep materials flowing to production and finished goods moving to customers.

Responsibilities include unloading deliveries, putting materials away, picking components, packing, and loading outbound shipments while maintaining accurate records. A forklift license and hands-on material handling experience are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 6–12 months relevant experience; or 1–3 years in shipping/receiving.
  • Hands-on material handling experience.
  • Forklift license/certification.

Responsibilities

  • Own inbound logistics: accept deliveries, unload trucks, and place materials into correct bins and storage locations.
  • Fulfill demand: pick components per work or customer orders and stage/deliver to manufacturing or shipping areas.
  • Ship with care: pack or crate parts, assemblies, and components using appropriate packaging; load outbound trucks or delivery vehicles safely.
  • Bridge supply gaps: pick up or deliver raw materials, parts, components, and finished products to vendors or customers as needed.
  • Operate safely: forklift inspections to confirm safe operation; follow all safety rules and maintain housekeeping standards.
  • Document accurately: complete all required computer transactions, paperwork, and records to keep inventory and orders current.
  • Be adaptable: assist with special projects and work overtime when needed to complete daily responsibilities.
