Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
HotKote is seeking a dependable, hands-on individual willing to learn powder coating and other production skills. Prior powder coating experience isn’t required; forklift or combi-lift experience helps, and you’ll gain training on coating processes and material handling.
You’ll be involved in washing, prep, loading/unloading, and learning powder coating while contributing to a dynamic team with opportunities for growth and skill building.
Tired of jobs where you're expected to already know everything on day one-but no one is willing to teach you anything new?
At HotKote, we're looking for someone who knows how to work, shows up ready to contribute, and wants the opportunity to learn more. You don't need years of powder coating experience. In fact, you don't need powder coating experience at all.
If you're comfortable operating a forklift or combi-lift, enjoy hands-on work, and are willing to learn skills like powder coating, washing, and material preparation, you may be exactly who we're looking for.
We can teach processes. We're looking for the person with the right mindset.
You're someone who takes pride in being dependable. When something needs moved, loaded, washed, prepared, or finished, you're willing to jump in and help get it done.
You may already have experience operating a forklift or combi-lift in a manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or production environment. Maybe you're looking for a place where you can take what you already know and build additional skills instead of doing the exact same thing every day.
You don't have to know powder coating when you walk through our doors. You do have to be willing to learn it.
The right person for our team:
This isn't a position where we expect you to stand in one spot doing one thing forever.
You will have the opportunity to learn different parts of the HotKote operation.
Depending on your experience and interests, that could include forklift/combi-lift operation, material handling, washing and preparing parts, loading and unloading the coating line, and learning how to powder coat.
Come in with a willingness to work, and we'll give you opportunities to build your skills.
We work hard, but work shouldn't be your entire identity.
Our people have lives outside the shop. They hunt. They fish. They follow sports and racing. They spend time with their families. They have hobbies, projects, and things they look forward to when the workday is over.
We're building a team where people can work hard, develop valuable skills, earn a living, and still enjoy the journey along the way.
At Crown Co., our values aren't complicated:
Grit. Loyalty. Enjoying the Journey. Integrity. Positive Mindset.
If those sound like the kind of values you already live by, you'll understand the type of people we're trying to build our team around.
You don't need to check every box before applying.
If you can operate a forklift or combi-lift, aren't afraid of hands-on work, and have the attitude to learn something new, we'd rather talk to you than have you talk yourself out of applying.
Your next job could just be another place to punch a clock-or it could be the place where you learn what you're capable of.
