Job summary

Penumbra in Roseville, CA is seeking a Production Material Handler I to ensure accurate inbound and outbound material flow and Kanban control in designated production areas. You will maintain logs and inventory, process material issues and returns, label and locate stock, operate pallet jacks, and uphold QMS and safety guidelines.

You will also use ERP/MRP systems, participate in cross-training, and support manufacturing with timely material deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED with 1+ years experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to follow written instructions and maintain accurate records.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices is helpful.
• Background check satisfactory.
• Day shift hours: 7 am to 3:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Maintain logs, files and computer systems for material receipts, issues, returns and Lot control.
• Reconcile Kanban inventory levels and shortages/overages.
• Process daily material issues and returns.
• Label and locate inventory; verify materials against production orders.
• Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks).
• Follow safety rules and QMS requirements; maintain clean work area.
