Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. in Harvard, MA is seeking a Production Manufacturing Engineer to scale advanced manufacturing for high-volume precision components in the Consumer Electronics industry.

You will develop, optimize, and sustain processes that deliver quality, throughput, and efficiency on the shop floor. Collaborating with Operations, Product Development, Quality, Automation, and Supply Chain, you will drive continuous improvement, transition new products to production, strengthen process

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in production environments.
• Experience improving processes in high-volume or precision manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize processes to improve safety, quality, yield, throughput and cost.
• Provide day-to-day engineering support by troubleshooting process and equipment issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition new products to full-rate production.
• Lead continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation (work instructions, PFMEAs, control plans).
• Analyze data to reduce process variation and improve capability and OEE.
• Support process validation, qualification activities, and engineering changes.
