Job summary

CapstoneONE Search is representing a globally recognized manufacturing organization seeking a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement while providing leadership to hourly staff and supervisors.

You will oversee staffing, scheduling, and daily assignments, coach and develop employees, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Experience in metal manufacturing, foundry, casting, or similar industrial operation.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production employees and supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, overtime, attendance, and daily work assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees to improve performance, engagement, and productivity.
• Conduct performance evaluations and address employee relations matters as needed.
• Promote a strong safety culture through training, audits, inspections, and compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• Monitor production performance and resolve operational, quality, and maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and management teams to improve processes and efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost reduction, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and labor agreements where applicable.
• Participate in investigations and implement corrective actions to address production or quality concerns.
