Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Production Manager in Oklahoma to oversee the production line, schedule workloads, resolve issues, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. You will lead daily operations and coordinate cross-functional teams on the shop floor.

You will onboard new hires, manage shifts, monitor safety, and promote communication to foster continuous improvement and efficient manufacturing. This onsite role requires five days per week on site.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of problem solving approaches, tools, and techniques.
• Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes.
• Knowledge of performance management techniques and tools.

Responsibilities

• Create reports on production processes, tool issues, and inventory; share with managers and suggest safety, productivity, and quality improvements.
• Maintain and update documentation for operating procedures, safety, and quality standards; ensure compliance across processes.
• Supervise daily activities of production line workers, assign tasks, coordinate teams, ensure safety and monitor performance.
• Onboard new hires, manage scheduling and conflicts, monitor safety, foster internal communication for collaboration and continuous improvement.
