Newly Weds Foods- Corporate in Mississippi is seeking a Production Manager to direct, plan, and coordinate all production activities. You will set priorities, optimize processes, and balance product quality with cost factors.

You will lead the production team, enforce safety standards, conduct GMP audits, and drive continuous improvement. Collaboration with QA, maintenance, purchasing, and HR is essential to keep operations efficient and compliant.

Qualificações

• Four-year college degree required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, supervisors and employees.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• GMP, HACCP, SQF and BRC knowledge a must.
• Proven track record in continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Directs, plans and coordinates production activities in the plant.
• Leads and develops the production department workforce.
• Ensures safety standards and drives safety initiatives; participates in Safety Committee.
• Identifies performance issues and provides coaching and progressive discipline.
• Coordinates with Purchasing and Customer Service to resolve issues.
• Conducts weekly supervisor meetings and ensures HR policies are followed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
