Job summary

Shea Concrete Products is seeking a Production Manager for our Rochester, MA precast plant. The role oversees a crew, drives safety, quality, and on-time production while coordinating with the Production Manager and other supervisors. Relocation assistance is included for the right candidate.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in precast production, strong leadership, and proficiency in MS Word/Excel, reading blueprints, and enforcing safety standards. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in precast production/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality systems and standards.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance.
• Knowledge of machines and tools.
• Proficient with MS Word & Excel.
• Read blueprints and sketches; follow oral instructions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear instructions.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training of production personnel and schedule production priorities.
• Supervise 6–12 employees and report to the Rochester Production Manager.
• Ensure safety procedures and quality control measures are followed.
• Coordinate production schedule with the Production Manager and set priorities.
• Drive continuous improvements to production efficiency and cost reduction.
• Lead team engagement and track metrics to meet deadlines consistently.
• Collaborate with operations and other supervisors to plan schedules.
