Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in precast production manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality systems and standards.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance.
• Knowledge of machines and tools.
• Understanding of computer skills, MS Word & Excel.
• Read blueprints, sketches and follow oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training of production personnel, schedule priorities and workforce.
• Supervise 6-12 employees and report to the Amesbury Production Manager.
• Follow and enforce Safety Program procedures and standards.
• Coordinate production schedule with Production Manager and determine priorities.
• Pursue continuous improvement of production efficiencies to lower costs.
• Implement and ensure product quality control measures.
• Lead team engagement to implement improvements and track metrics.
• Collaborate with operations manager to set department schedules.
• Assess staff skills and provide training/evaluation as needed.
