Job summary

Shea Concrete Products, Inc. seeks an experienced Precast Production Specialist at our Rochester, MA location.

The role involves preparing precast forms and molds, handling installation of reinforcement and embeds, and finishing concrete into forms, with emphasis on safety and quality through all steps. The position is full-time, manual labor, with opportunity for advancement to foreman based on performance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old under federal guidelines.
• At least 2 years as a Precast Laborer.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to stay focused in a busy environment.
• Experience operating a forklift or Bobcat is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare precast forms for manufacturing concrete products.
• Prepare molds for stripping by removing forms from hardened concrete.
• Clean, prepare and set up molds for production.
• Place and secure reinforcement in various precast forms.
• Layout and secure embeds, knockouts, etc.
• Place and finish concrete into various precast forms.
