Job summary

Zekelman Industries is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily plant operations in Kansas City, MO. You will coordinate labor, supervise a team, and drive safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement on the production floor.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience, an associate degree in management or supervision, and knowledge of MES/SAP. This on-site role offers growth, collaboration with Quality/Maintenance, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
• Associate degree with emphasis on management or supervision (or equivalent).
• Working knowledge of shop floor systems such as MES and SAP or comparable platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily plant operations and coordinate labor assignments to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Inventory to ensure goals are met and improvements implemented.
• Develop work schedules and delegate tasks while ensuring accountability across team members.
