Job summary

AEG is seeking a Production Manager to advance all event details for shows. The role leads the production team and sets plans to execute the show as per contract, while adhering to the budget and ensuring artist and venue needs are met.

Responsibilities include liaising with venue and artists, budgeting, coordinating tour schedules, managing load-in/out, and supervising production staff. BA/BS required with 4–6 years in related work; music industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in a related field.
• 4-6 years of related work experience.
• Experience interpreting event contracts and developing accurate production budgets; music industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between venue and artist to ensure production needs are met and contracts are adhered to.
• Work with talent buyer and artist to schedule tours, build offers and create show budgets.
• Coordinate with venue to ensure all show needs are addressed and functional.
• Resolve production issues that arise during shows.
• Develop relationships with artists, tour crews, venues and management for smooth communication.
• Set and monitor show budgets and ensure expenses stay within limits.
• Oversee load-in/out and payroll for production staff; may manage local labor and rentals.
