Job summary

G&F Precision Molding Inc. in Fiskdale, MA is seeking a results-driven Production Manager to lead the manufacturing department.

You will supervise 1st shift and coordinate operations across product lines to meet customer requirements and quality standards, while driving cost controls and on-time delivery. The role requires a four-year technical degree or equivalent plus 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong ERP and ISO 9001/13485 familiarity, and a willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising a manufacturing operations department.
• Four-year technical degree or equivalent; SPC/SQC coursework preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems; ISO 9001/13485 experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills for technical discussions and following written/verbal directions.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, PPE; lift up to 15 lbs; stand for up to 8 hours daily.
• Domestic travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Direct Operations: Coordinate production and manufacturing processes across all product lines to meet customer requirements and profit goals.
• Strategic Planning: Review processing schedules to determine staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments.
• Performance Metrics: Drive and execute management goals for on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, labor costs, and material cost reduction.
• ERP & Reporting: Maintain the production module of the ERP system for data accuracy and provide monthly forecasting for open sales.
• Team Leadership: Oversee the hiring, training, and performance management of production personnel, providing constructive feedback and development plans.
• Technical Collaboration: Participate in APQP and recommend improvements for tooling and equipment technology.
• Inventory Control: Coordinate programs for raw materials, WIP, and final goods to ensure cost-effective inventory management.
