Job summary

Watchfire in Houston is seeking an experienced Production Manager reporting to the Director of Operations. This role requires advanced proficiency in manufacturing methods, Lean/Six Sigma, OSHA 1910 safety standards, and knowledge of federal/state labor laws.

Strong communication, time management, and accountability are essential for shop-floor leadership across shifts. You will oversee resource planning, audits for quality and design standards, coaching for growth, and onboarding of new staff

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
2+ years in a Supervisory or Management Role.
5+ years of Manufacturing/ Production Experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Proficient in reading/writing/typing in English; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning and organization of all shop resources with Supervisors.
Ensure production is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all specifications.
Provide coaching and corrective action for employees not meeting expectations.
Audit completion of preventative maintenance and ensure tasks are completed.
Support onboarding and training steps for new employees.
