Job summary

Watchfire in Houston is seeking an experienced Production Manager reporting to the Director of Operations. This role requires advanced proficiency in manufacturing methods, Lean/Six Sigma, OSHA 1910 safety standards, and knowledge of federal/state labor laws.

Strong communication, time management, and accountability are essential for shop-floor leadership across shifts. You will oversee resource planning, audits for quality and design standards, coaching for growth, and onboarding of new staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in a Supervisory or Management Role.
• 5+ years of Manufacturing/ Production Experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in reading/writing/typing in English; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and organization of all shop resources with Supervisors.
• Ensure production is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all specifications.
• Provide coaching and corrective action for employees not meeting expectations.
• Audit completion of preventative maintenance and ensure tasks are completed.
• Support onboarding and training steps for new employees.
