Job summary

Hyundai Mobis in Ellabell, GA seeks a Production Manager to lead assembly line productivity and safety, develop short- and long-term objectives, and manage capacity and labor planning for all manufacturing departments. The role reports to MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC.

You will drive continuous improvement, coordinate root-cause analysis, supervise training, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental goals, while minimizing overtime and maintaining headcount

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• +5 years of management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan short and long-term objectives for the Production department.
• Provide capacity and labor planning for all manufacturing departments.
• Coordinate continuous improvement teams to achieve productivity, quality, and safety goals.
• Coordinate corrective action planning and root-cause analysis for improvements.
• Teach continuous improvement philosophy through training.
• Provide conflict resolution for and coach Team Members.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental goals.
• Ensure departmental compliance with company policies and safety rules.
• Oversee and provide counseling on proper progressive discipline per policy.
• Initiate reporting systems to monitor department performance.
• Minimize overtime of all assigned Team Members.
• Plan and conduct continuous improvement training of supervisory personnel.
• Maintain personnel headcount per the business plan.
• Conduct annual evaluations (MBO) of supervisory personnel.
• Promote safety in the workplace and lead safety meetings.
• All other duties as assigned.
