Job summary

Hino Motors Manufacturing is seeking a Production Manager at our Mineral Wells, WV plant to lead production operations, ensuring safety, quality, cost control and on-time delivery. You will manage production schedules, supervise teams, and coordinate with maintenance, quality assurance and procurement to keep flow smooth while driving continuous improvement and cost reduction.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years in manufacturing management; Lean/Six Sigma

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years in a production or manufacturing management role.
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor production schedules to meet customer demand and company goals.
Supervise and lead production teams, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Coordinate with procurement, quality assurance, and maintenance departments to ensure smooth production flow.
Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the production area.
Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to optimize production efficiency.
Troubleshoot production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.
Prepare and present regular reports on production performance to senior management.
