Toshiba America Energy Systems Corporation (TAES) seeks a 2nd shift Assembly Technician (4-10's) to work at the Milwaukee Service Center. Responsibilities include disassembly, refurbishment, winding, and reassembly of large generation equipment with precision and adherence to drawings.
The candidate should have 3–5 years in a service shop, strong mechanical aptitude, and experience with measuring tools and basic electrical testing.

We are seeking a 2nd shift Assembly Technician (4-10's) to work out of our Milwaukee Service Center. The Assembly Technician is responsible for working on mechanical or electrical apparatus associated with large generation equipment. Key responsibilities include disassembling, cleaning, refurbishing, manufacturing, winding, and reassembling both stationary and rotating machinery. The Assembly Technician is expected to carry out certain tasks independently, without direct supervision, and/or in collaboration with experienced technicians, using engineering drawings, specifications, and established procedures.
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places, and risk of shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat, extreme cold and wet, humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is frequently loud.
