Job summary

SAIC in Bedford, IN seeks a Production Manager to oversee all production activities, ensure schedules are developed and executed on time and within budget, and drive continuous improvement.

You will monitor workflow, allocate resources, manage inspection/acceptance, and partner with Quality, Engineering, Logistics, and Program Management to meet contract requirements and deliverables. A strong leader with DoD experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with related experience.
• Experience leading production and meeting schedules.
• Knowledge of inspection and acceptance processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all production activities.
• Ensure schedules are developed, maintained, and executed on time and within budget.
• Monitor workflow, resources, and production efficiency.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks or issues promptly.
• Lead inspection and acceptance activities.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and contract requirements.
• Collaborate with Quality to maintain compliance and resolve non-conformances.
• Present production status reports and dashboards to leadership.
• Mentor and develop the production team in coordination with Bedford facility manager.
• Foster accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
