Job summary

HII Mission Technologies in Huntsville is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to lead the design, development, assembly, integration, and delivery of Army aviation test systems and Navy SBEDS PTTs. You will oversee production leadership, ensure builds meet engineering standards, quality benchmarks, and schedule commitments, directly supporting fleet readiness and mission success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing.
• Experience leading production schedules, budgets, staffing, and resource allocations.
• Experience supporting systems integration, testing, and production readiness.
• ERP experience required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Lean manufacturing and ISO 9001 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees assembling parts into subassemblies and final units.
• Manage production lifecycle of multiple PTT systems.
• Develop and maintain production schedules and build instructions.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, QA, procurement, and program management.
• Monitor risks and mitigate schedule conflicts.
• Lead production personnel including technicians and engineers.
