Job summary

Keystone Cement Company is seeking a Production Manager to oversee operations, production, process, yard, shipping and workforce across cement manufacturing stages. You will coordinate with quarry, quality, sales and other departments to meet production and profit goals.

The role requires leading safety initiatives, managing budgets, and ensuring accurate reporting, with a focus on MSHA compliance and team development within a dynamic plant environment.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree required in chemical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years cement plant operations experience.
• Minimum two years of management experience.
• Strong leadership and delegation abilities.
• Familiar with MSHA regulations and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety and regulatory compliance across production areas.
• Plan and direct schedules to maximize utilization and cost control.
• Ensure accurate daily and monthly production reporting.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quarry, quality, sales and other departments.
• Develop budgets for operations and maintenance.
• Manage contractors and capital projects.
• Monitor BOMs, scrap logs, and WIP with ERP compliance.
• Support power programs and demand response as applicable.
• Conduct employee evaluations and drive merit-based actions.
• Maintain purchasing, production, maintenance and timecard procedures.
