Job summary

EVAPCO, Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to plan production, monitor KPIs, and ensure products are built safely, on time, and within budget, meeting customer specs and quality requirements.

You will collaborate across Safety, Quality, Facilities, People Ops, and Production to keep the operation running smoothly. You will hire and place staff, develop shop leaders, uphold safety initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading a team with a positive attitude and developing employees.
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to shift priorities to changing production needs.
  • Effective time management.
  • Clear communication with a diverse group of employees.
  • Flexible schedule for off-hour visits when necessary.
  • Understand workplace protocols and address unsafe conditions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • 5–7 years of production management experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge preferred but not required.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

  • Evaluates department efficiencies and looks for areas for improvement.

Basic Purpose of the Position

  • Must be able to communicate clearly and connect with a diverse group of employees.
  • Must have flexible schedule to allow off hour visits when necessary.
  • Must be able to understand workplace protocols and address any unsafe conditions.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • 5-7 years of production management experience.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma principles preferred, but not required.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Manufacturing environment
  • Wear PPE when required in Manufacturing Areas
  • Continuous standing, squatting and bending throughout the workday
  • Ability to work at a desk for extended periods
  • Ability to handle high stress situations
  • Ability to take calls 24/7
  • Ability to come in during off hours to address issues
