Job summary

CompleteStaff is seeking a 1st shift Production Manager in Wisconsin to lead a fast-paced, non-union manufacturing environment. You will supervise lower-to-high production operations, drive short- and long-term objectives, and manage performance for the shift.

The role requires hands-on leadership of hourly staff, conducting performance reviews, and close coordination with the General Manager to optimize workflow, safety, and productivity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Manufacturing Supervisory/Management experience.
• Three to Five years’ experience working in electrical assembly, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 1st shift production operations to meet objectives.
• Lead hourly shift employees in a high mix, medium volume environment.
• Conduct performance reviews, discuss attendance, and recommend wage adjustments.
• Monitor departmental performance metrics and report to General Manager.
• Ensure safety compliance and administer disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Communicate across management to improve procedures and workflow.
• Direct supervision of approximately 25 non-supervisory staff.

Seeking a 1st shift Production Manager to meet both short and long-term production objectives.

This leader will supervise low-high production operations in a fast-paced non-union manufacturing environment.

Lead hourly shift employees in high mix, medium volume environment to meet both short and long-term production objectives.

Responsible for conducting performance reviews, discussing attendance and recommending wage adjustments, promotions, etc.

Manages departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to General Manager

Utilizes operational metrics and an on the floor presence approach to maintain close surveillance over the manufacturing operations to assure scheduled workflow, utilization of manpower skills, machines, tooling methods and machine repairs.

Ensures compliance with safety regulations, policies, and labor contract provisions and administers disciplinary action when necessary.

Communicates daily with appropriate managers and peer group on overall operating conditions and make recommendations to improve procedures, methods, and techniques.

Communicate regularly with direct reports to provide goals and objective of the operations.

Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the production floor.

Also directly supervises approximately 25 non-supervisory employees.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
