Job summary

Graham Packaging is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance activities across the plant, ensuring safe, efficient operations and reliable equipment performance.

The role requires a minimum of five years in maintenance supervision within manufacturing, with strong leadership and communication skills. You will manage budgets, collaborate with Engineering, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or related maintenance experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a maintenance supervisory/management role in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established safety, health, quality GMP policies and company procedures.
  • Participate in plant staff, shift and safety meetings; conduct departmental meetings and training.
  • Develop methods and procedures to optimize manufacturing efficiency and reduce operating costs.
  • Maintain direct contact with Engineering on latest improvements to plant machinery and systems to increase performance and reduce costs.
  • Investigate causes of breakdowns and develop programs to reduce future occurrences.
  • Determine and control the maintenance budget to ensure efficient use of funds.
  • Select, train and develop shift personnel to meet department goals.
  • Meet with vendors and conduct plant visits; may lead special projects.
  • Travel of up to 25% may be required.
