Job summary

Graham Packaging in Fremont, Ohio, seeks a Plant Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery. You will direct shift personnel and coordinate with sales and service to meet customer requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and at least five years of supervisory manufacturing experience; Six Sigma/Lean is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field required.
  • Minimum five years of operations supervisory/management experience in manufacturing.
  • Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to interact with managers, employees, vendors, and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations and direct personnel.
  • Lead safety initiatives, training programs, and safety meetings.
  • Ensure plant quality initiatives, corrective actions, and audits.
  • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement using lean tools across departments.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service to maximize plant utilization.

Qualifica
