Job summary

Walker Lovell Ltd. is seeking a plant leader to take charge of safe, efficient plant operations, balancing production targets with maintenance needs and available resources.

You will drive improvements in output, quality, equipment utilization and operating costs while developing the plant team and fostering collaboration across functions. Occasional travel may be required as part of operational leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• At least five years' leadership experience in heavy manufacturing, construction or mining.
• Experience managing operational teams and improving safety, production, maintenance or quality performance.
• Strong understanding of budgets and cost control, with cost accounting and profit and loss exposure valued.
• Degree in Engineering, Business or Finance, or equivalent leadership experience is desirable.
• Flexibility to support shifts, on-call duties and weekend work when required.

Lead the Team. Improve Plant Performance.

Take a broad plant leadership role with direct influence over safety, output, quality and costs. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you'll lead approximately 10 employees and bring production, maintenance and mining activities together to deliver reliable results.

• A degree in Engineering, Business or Finance, or equivalent relevant leadership experience, is desirable. Flexibility to support shifts, on-call duties and weekend working when required is essential.
