Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC is seeking a Production Manager in New Mexico to oversee the division's P&L and drive operational performance. The role requires strategic leadership to improve efficiency, quality, and safety across manufacturing operations.

You will lead a skilled production team, implement lean and continuous improvement, collaborate with supply chain, engineering and sales, and ensure regulatory compliance and safe practices while achieving profitability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in welding and fabrication.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
• Proficient in production planning and scheduling.
• Manufacturing Engineering experience is a plus

About the Role

The Production Manager will be directly responsible for overseeing the Profit and Loss (P&L) and overall performance of the division. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive operational efficiency, implement effective strategic planning, and ensure the highest standards of production quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• P&L Management Oversee the division's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to ensure profitability.
• Operational Efficiency Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
• Strategic Planning Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve short-term and long-term business objectives.
• Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing production team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Quality Assurance Ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements, implementing quality control processes as needed.
• Safety Compliance Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Collaboration Work closely with other departments, such as supply chain, engineering, and sales, to align production goals with overall business objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience with proven leadership - ideally in welding and fabrication.
• Manufacturing Engineering experience is a plus
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Proficient in production planning and scheduling
