The ideal candidate will manage production schedules, provide quality assurance, mentor staff, and enforce safety practices while maintaining accountability across the workforce. This is a full-time on-site position in Norwood, NC.

Company Description Arrowood Designs, Inc. is a fully integrated manufacturer of commercial casework, furniture, and architectural millwork based in Norwood, NC. The company operates a 50,000-square-foot facility equipped with state-of-the-art woodworking machinery driven directly by engineering screen-to-machine technology to support efficient, lean production. Arrowood is licensed by the Architectural Woodwork Institute’s Quality Certification Program.

Currently, we are underutilizing our facility and are anxious to grow our volume.

Role Description - the Production Manager is a full-time, on-site role located at Arrowood Designs, Inc. in Norwood, NC.

Primary functions are:

• schedule production/planning
• review engineering/shop drawings for accuracy and ease of production
• Quality Assurance
• hire and fire production staff
• training production staff
• ability to hold people accountable
• oversee and sometimes participate in equipment maintenance
• safety meetings

This role is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and coordination between engineering, manufacturing, finishing, and installation teams.

We see this role as roughly 50% Office/50% Production Floor.
