Qualifications

  • 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
  • 3+ years of supervision experience.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in metal manufacturing, foundry, casting, or similar industrial operation is preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise production employees and supervisors in a manufacturing environment.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, overtime, attendance, and daily work assignments.
  • Coach, train, and develop employees to improve performance, engagement, and productivity.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and address employee relations matters as needed.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through training, audits, inspections, and compliance with EH&S requirements.
  • Monitor production performance and resolve operational, quality, and maintenance issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and management teams to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost reduction, and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and labor agreements where applicable.
  • Participate in investigations and implement corrective actions to address production or quality concerns.
