Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to direct and coordinate production and maintenance across the Montello and Wautoma sites. You will drive production performance while upholding quality and cost efficiency for about 100 employees.

This role reports to the president and offers a leadership path beyond standard production management, with lean manufacturing implementation, scheduling oversight, and team development in a collaborative, family-like culture.

Qualifications

• Expertise in manufacturing leadership and operational management.
• 10+ years’ experience in the manufacturing industry, with at least in an operations leadership role.
• Experience with lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S.
• Working knowledge of computer systems for managing production schedules (familiarity with SYSPRO is preferred).
• Must be an effective communicator both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate production and maintenance departments to meet performance targets.
• Manage production schedules, foster teamwork, and implement lean practices to minimize costs and errors.
• Lead and develop a high-performing workforce across Montello and Wautoma sites (approx. 100 employees).
• Influence strategic decisions and drive a culture of engagement and continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for production performance while maintaining quality requirements in the most cost-effective manner.You will report to the president of the company.
