Job summary

Brady seeks a Production Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate all facility activities, leading teams to achieve safety, quality, and profitability targets while driving continuous process improvement.

The role oversees daily production operations across shifts, manages staff and resources, and drives cost control and process optimization within the quality management system EtQ. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of equivalent supervisory experience.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing with 3 years in a people leadership role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Google Suite preferred.
• SAP experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Inventory management such as cycle count, material movement transactions and delivery routes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety across all shifts.
• Monitor production processes to maintain stability, minimize scrap, and ensure output meets specifications.
• Manage production staff, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize productivity and control overtime.
• Drive and implement process and project-based initiatives to enhance floor efficiency.
• Standardize workflows and ensure procedures are up to date in the quality management system (EtQ).
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance reviews while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols (PPE, LOTO).
• Monitor operational expenditures, capital expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report on budget variances.
