Job summary

Dart Container is seeking a Production Manager to lead multiple shifts and diverse processes, driving safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will collaborate with supervisors to optimize schedules, monitor KPIs, and guide continuous improvement efforts while fostering a culture of safety and employee development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with five years supervisory experience in manufacturing or High School diploma with eight years supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, planning, budgeting and people management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for persuasion and decision making.
• Ability to analyze problems and select effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Direct production activities across shifts, optimizing schedules and resources.
• Champions safety and quality practices to meet regulatory standards and exceed customer expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost efficiency and achieve strategic goals.

What You'll Do

• Direct production activities, collaborating closely with supervisors to optimize schedules and resources.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree with Five (5) years previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated strong leadership and management skills, or;
• High school diploma or equivalent with eight (8) years previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated strong leadership and management skills
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, cost analysis and budgeting, people management, and leadership guidance
• Displays strong interpersonal skills and is accessible and approachable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to persuade and influence decision making of individuals, groups, or work teams
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing multi-shift or continuous operations
• Paper converting, chemical/plastics processing and packaging industrial experience
• Lean manufacturing experience
