Job summary

Green Lake Nursery is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead daily nursery production operations, including transplanting, sticking, potting, and related line activities. You will drive efficiency, quality, safety, and team performance while meeting production schedules and maintaining cost controls.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of leadership in production settings, strong planning and coordination skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in production, nursery, agriculture, horticulture, manufacturing, or related environment preferred.
• Strong experience with production scheduling, labor planning, inventory management, quality control, and team leadership.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier coordination, and material forecasting preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

Green Lake Nursery is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager to lead daily nursery production operations and drive efficiency, quality, safety, and team performance. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing production activities, including transplanting, sticking, potting, and related production-line operations while ensuring production schedules are completed on time and according to company standards.
