Job summary

Midway Products Group, INC is seeking a manufacturing leader to provide vision and direction for production operations at our Ohio plant. The role focuses on safety, quality, and achieving MOS targets while driving continuous improvement and the adoption of Self-Directed Work Teams.

You will collaborate with peers on the plant operating team, participate in strategic planning and budgeting, and ensure ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001 standards are sustained.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a manufacturing leadership position with automotive stamping exposure.
• Computer literate; strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement through team member participation and involvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and leadership for production operations.
• Drive safety, quality, and MOS goals; meet plant metrics.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Self-Directed Work Teams.
• Participate in plant operating team, strategic planning and budgeting.
• Ensure ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001 compliance in manufacturing activities.
• Develop and train Area Managers and direct reports; ensure policy adherence.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Handles all aspects of safety, quality, and production activities with the objective of meeting the plant's MOS measurable goals.
• Provides the vision, direction and leadership for production operations.
• Drives continuous improvement activities.
• Leads the plant's efforts towards development and implementation of Self-Directed Work Teams
• Participates with peers as a member of the plant operating team.
• Participates in plant strategic planning and budgeting processes for the manufacturing operation.
• Promotes, enforces and sustains ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001 standards in manufacturing activity.
• Assures Area Managers and other direct reports receive appropriate direction, training and development.
• Assures fair application, compliance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Treats all other team members with respect and dignity.
• Performs other essential functions as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
