Job summary

Herrmann Ultrasonics is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily production of ultrasonic tooling and drive efficiency across the shop floor in Bartlett, IL. You will oversee tool shop staff, coordinate schedules with production planning, and ensure safe, quality operations.

Responsibilities include managing raw material stock, maintaining machinery, enforcing quality controls, and collaborating with purchasing on replenishments.

Qualifications

• Oversee daily production of ultrasonic tooling, optimizing efficiency and throughput.
• Supervise tool shop employees in day-to-day activities and development.
• Execute production schedule according to business priorities.
• Manage raw material stock levels and coordinate with Purchasing on replenishment.
• Maintain machinery and implement preventive maintenance.
• Enforce quality and safety regulations and participate in corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Oversee daily production of ultrasonic tooling, optimizing efficiency and throughput
• Supervise tool shop employees in day-to-day activities as well as reviews and training/development
• Execute production schedule according to business unit and customer priorities
• Manage raw material stock levels and interface with purchasing department on replenishment
• Responsible for maintenance program and upkeep on all machinery
• Enforce quality and safety regulations, participating in corrective actions when necessary

Required skills

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of machining processes and CNC machines
• Strong leadership, coaching, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Good communication skills

Proficiency in MS-Office (Excel, PP, Word, Teams) and ERP production systems
