• Gain knowledge of lumber math, cuts, yields, and material utilization
• Operate business systems for administrative functions
• Develop detailed knowledge of product costing and budgeting
• Understand production scheduling and expense control processes
• Supervise activities adhering to company policies and laws
• Build knowledge of Continuous Improvement, efficiency standards, and safety
• Learn HR policies and practices
• Tour other UFP facilities to understand operations
• Complete courses and assignments as directed
• Prepare various required reports
• Perform other duties as required
