UFP Gordon, LLC is seeking a Production Management Trainee to develop a comprehensive understanding of plant operations and manufacturing processes. You will follow a mentor’s direction with limited discretion, while cultivating creativity in problem solving.

You will learn product costing, scheduling, budgeting, and company procedures, preparing reports and ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Excel spreadsheets is required.

Responsabilidades

• Develops knowledge of Company products and procedures through on-the-job training activities.
• Develops knowledge of panel and lumber grades and lumber math for efficient material utilization.
• Learns to operate the company's business system for administrative functions.
• Develops an understanding of product costing and production scheduling.
• Gains knowledge of budget and expense control processes.
• Supervises activities in line with company policies and applicable laws.
• Develops knowledge of Continuous Improvement, efficiency standards and safety.
• Gains understanding of Human Resources policies and practices.
• Tours other UFP facilities and customer locations to understand operations.
• Completes courses and assignments as directed and prepares required reports.
