Job Title: Production Management Specialist

Position Summary:

Oneida Professional Services is seeking a highly capable Production Management Specialist to provide journeyman-level logistics and production support. The successful candidate will assist government Supply Planners in managing both organic and contract repair efforts across a wide range of Air Force weapon systems. The role involves detailed coordination of asset movement, budget execution, workload planning, contract oversight, and training support, leveraging a suite of advanced logistics and enterprise planning systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Government Supply Planners with managing logistics support activities related to organic and contract repair programs.

Track and manage asset shipments, budget allocations, workload projections, and contract negotiations.

Monitor and oversee the production and delivery of components required for scheduled maintenance and sustainment.

Provide technical support and subject matter expertise to less experienced team members.

Assist in the preparation and execution of budget narratives, repair forecasts, and contract closeout processes.

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of repair-related Purchase Instrument packages.

Support file maintenance and data entry within assigned logistics and planning systems.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure repair activities are executed in line with program requirements and priorities.

Contribute to training efforts, supporting the knowledge transfer of Air Force production management policies, procedures, and tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Air Force Production Management Specialist or equivalent logistics role supporting DoD operations.

Demonstrated knowledge of Air Force logistics processes and production management systems.

Strong understanding of organic and contract repair lifecycle management.

Effective communication skills with ability to work in a team and mentor junior personnel.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience at Robins AFB or in a USAF depot or sustainment environment.

Familiarity with Air Force supply and maintenance organizational structures.

Experience developing budget narratives and managing expiring contracts.

Ability to interpret and apply Air Force instructions, technical orders, and program requirements.

Clearance Requirement:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (or as specified by contract).
