Job summary

Swire Coca-Cola, USA is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain all assets in the production facility. You will identify, troubleshoot, and repair problems that affect production equipment and processes.

In this role you will perform preventive maintenance, handle equipment change-overs and line setups, rebuild and install new equipment, and manage spares inventory. Weekend and holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) or equivalent degree/certificate required.
• Must become forklift certified within 1 month of hire.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
• Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs on production equipment between shifts and line changes to maintain product quality.
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance to prolong equipment life.
• Perform equipment changeovers and line setups prior to production changes.
• Overhaul and install new equipment as directed by the business.
• Rebuild, fabricate and manage parts inventory to ensure adequate stock.
