Job summary

Swire Coca-Cola is hiring a Production Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain all assets in the production facility. You will identify, troubleshoot, and fix equipment issues while ensuring consistent product quality.

You will schedule preventive maintenance, perform line changeovers, and install new equipment as directed. The role involves inventory management, teamwork, and contributing to special projects, with attention to safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED) or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must become forklift certified within 1 month of hire
• Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs on production equipment in between shifts and line changes so that variations in product quality don't occur
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance to pro long the useful life of equipment. This is done regularly as assigned by the business
• Prior to production changes this employee performs equipment change-overs and production line set-ups to prepare for production
• Overhaul and install new equipment onto machines as directed by the business
• Rebuild, fabricate and manage parts inventory to ensure an adequate inventory
• Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events
• Performs other duties as assigned
