Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician II at our Corporate Office in Kings Mountain, NC. The role requires independent work and collaboration to perform skilled maintenance across hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, metalwork, HVAC, electrical, electronics, control and instrumentation.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, reviewing drawings, and mentoring junior technicians while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 8 years of related experience.
• Certification/training in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on production and facilities equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical).
• Troubleshoots and corrects equipment problems using diagrams, documents and reference materials.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, sensors, and communication pathways to promptly return equipment to operational status.
• Mentors and guides junior technicians to develop maintenance skills.
• Complies with safety, health, environmental policies and company procedures.

Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance).Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, sensors, and communication pathways to promptly return equipment to operational status.Complies with established safety, health, environmental policies.
