Production Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

Role and Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Perform troubleshooting, preventive, and demand maintenance for production lines, including electrical and mechanical repairs. Replace components such as motors, motor drives, pumps, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and transmissions. Make adjustments considering quality, tolerances, and operational sequence.
• Work from schedules, work orders, manuals, blueprints, charts, and instructions.
• Use precision measuring devices (multimeters, calipers, etc.).
• Maintain, repair, and install a wide variety of machine parts, components, and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with peers, production associates, and supervision.

Requirements

Required Skills / Abilities / Competencies

• Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring (including 120/480 volts).
• Experience and knowledge of machine operation and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of safe work environment practices and a proven ability to work safely.
• Good attendance record demonstrated through a solid work history.
• Own a standard set of tools.
• Plastic extrusion experience is a plus.

Education and Experience

• Legally entitled to work in the US.
• Associate's degree/certificate in a related field or comparable manufacturing experience.

Mental/Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting at a desk or working on a computer.
• Intermittent crouching, kneeling, working in confined areas, and in varied temperatures and outdoors as necessary.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
