Job summary

Swire Coca-Cola is hiring a Production Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain assets in our production facility. You will identify and fix equipment problems, and perform preventive maintenance to keep lines running smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma, 18+, forklift cert within 1 month, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work weekends/holidays. You’ll join a team dedicated to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must become forklift certified within 1 month of hire.
• Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs on production equipment between shifts.
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance to prolong equipment life.
• Perform equipment changeovers and line set ups for production.
• Overhaul and install new equipment as directed.
• Rebuild, fabricate and manage parts inventory.
• Attend meetings and assist with special projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What does a Production Maintenance Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola?

Repair and maintain all assets within the production facility. The Production Maintenance Technician must identify, troubleshoot, and repair problems that occur in production equipment and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs on production equipment in between shifts and line changes so that variations in product quality don’t occur
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance to prolong the useful life of equipment. This is done regularly as assigned by the business
• Prior to production changes this employee performs equipment change‑overs and production line set‑ups to prepare for production
• Overhaul and install new equipment onto machines as directed by the business
• Rebuild, fabricate and manage parts inventory to ensure an adequate inventory
• Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (or GED) or equivalent degree/certificate required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must become forklift certified within 1 month of hire
• Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
