Ball Corporation in Ft. Atkinson, WI seeks a Production Maintenance Technician to join a 24/7 manufacturing team. You will operate and repair high-speed equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure quality standards while collaborating across shifts.

The role emphasizes safety, ethics, and on-site presence. Starting at $32.40/hour, the position offers OT after 8 hours, a quarterly gainshare bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package beginning day one.

PositionOverview:

As aProduction Technician,you’rea member of a production crew, reporting toa supervisor of an assigned production area.You willcontribute to the success of Ball byobservingoperating principles of all assigned equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility.

The Fort Atkinson plant is a high-volume, fast-paced 24/7-365 days/year manufacturing environment. Our crews work 3 days on/3 days off, rotating from days to nights and back every 9 weeks (6a-6p/6p-6a)

YourKeyResponsibilitiesInclude:

• Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc.
• Operate,adjust,and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.
• Assistwith performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Inspectaluminiumfor proper quality standards and customer specifications.
• Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.

RequiredExperience andSkills:

• High School Diploma orequivalent education.
• 1-year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field withdemonstratedmechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiencyin the use of hand and power tools.

PreferredExperienceandSkills:

• 2years’work experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

Physical EnvironmentandWorking Conditions:

• Hot/Cold working conditions.
• Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
• Climbing (stairs, and other equipment as necessary).

• Starting Hourly Rate:$32.40 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.) .
