Ball Corporation in Hawaii is seeking a Production Technician to join the on-site manufacturing team. You will be part of a production crew, follow SOPs, operate high-speed equipment, and support the area with routine maintenance and safety practices.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of mechanical experience, and proficiency with hand and power tools. Preference for experience in high-speed manufacturing. Competitive salary with incentive plans.

Position Overview:

As aProduction Technician,you’rea member of a production crew, reporting toa supervisor of an assigned production area.You willcontribute to the success of Ball byobservingoperating principles of all assigned equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility.

YourKeyResponsibilitiesInclude:

Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc.

Operate,adjust,and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.

Assistwith performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.

Inspectaluminiumfor proper quality standards and customer specifications.

Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.

Required Experience and Skills:

High School Diploma orequivalent education.

1-year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field withdemonstratedmechanical troubleshooting skills.

Proficiencyin the use of hand and power tools.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

2years’work experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

Physical Environment and Working Conditions:

May be subject toall ofthe following, but not limited to:

Hot/Cold working conditions.

Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.

Climbing (stairs, and other equipment as necessary).

• Expected Hiring Salary Range:$26.49/hr
• This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.

• Onsite Work Environment:This requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site. Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
