Install, repair, improve, and maintain complex machinery and facilities to support plant goals of safety, quality, and productivity.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Troubleshoot and repair facilities and production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure a safe work environment.
2. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment to improve reliability and reduce unscheduled downtime.
3. Assist in specifying new equipment to facilitate proper application and specifications.
4. Install new facility and production equipment according to schedule and ensure it performs to its intended purpose to maintain profitability and competitiveness.
5. Develop, recommend, and implement improvements to facilities and equipment to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
6. Repair or upgrade existing machine components to maintain a supply of replacement parts.
7. Document activities related to repairs, preventive maintenance, parts requests, and projects via CMMS in SAP and shift reports to support production, regulatory, and ISO compliance.
8. Follow all safety, food safety, and quality guidelines during daily functions.

Qualifications

• Must have a general maintenance background with primary strength in electrical work.
• Proven experience troubleshooting industrial control systems, including AC/DC motors, drives, motor starters, encoders, transducers, PLCs, and control signals.
• Skilled in industrial electrical/electronic systems, welding, machining, plumbing, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with a focus on electrical skills.
• Able to work overtime, weekends, and possibly off-shift.
• Demonstrated good performance in current role.
