Job Description

Responsible for scheduling, supervision of work assigned, and training and development of the maintenance hourly staff. The role also supports the Maintenance Manager's vision and execution for the department.

• Oversee maintenance activities and ensure work is completed in a timely manner.
• Attend mandatory cross-functional team meetings daily regarding safety, quality, and cost.
• Actively participate in the plant’s safety initiatives, including food safety and occupational safety.
• Prioritize routine and daily activities to support production schedules.
• Manage and enhance existing Preventative Maintenance programs using E-maint.
• Work continuously to minimize unscheduled downtime through ongoing improvements.
• Assist with continuous improvement projects related to CAPEX in the production facility.
• Maintain and upgrade equipment; develop and implement new procedures to improve production flow, operational costs, and quality.

Requirements

• Experience in team building, coaching, and succession planning for technical and engineering personnel.
• Maintenance experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and application of lean manufacturing principles.
• Project management experience with a goal-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs.
